Prevention is Best – Dr Marilyn Allen PhD

IMG_3667

A good  integrative health care professional advises a patient on how to live a life of well being naturally, with a view to prevent or minimise illness. Allopathic medicines  are not encouraged though have a place in healing. Focus is on the vitality of nutrition, physical alignment, supporting weakened systems towards restoration and stimulation of the immune systems to heal the self.  Most of all, an Integrative Practitioner encourages the patient to love the self to help the  healing process. The patient is empowered to participate in the care plan which enables him or her to take more interest in their care.

Remember, there is a strong chance that patient who takes medicine must recover twice, once from the illness and again from the medicine.

Your body’s ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe!
