CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Reflective Practice. Confident Practice. Ethical Practice.
Counselling can be deeply rewarding, but it can also bring uncertainty, emotional complexity and moments when we question our clinical judgement.
Sometimes a client's presentation stays with us long after the session. At other times, we may feel uncertain about the therapeutic relationship, the direction of the work, or what is happening beneath the surface.
Clinical supervision offers a dedicated space to pause, think and reflect.
It is an opportunity to move beyond simply discussing what happened in a session and begin exploring why it happened, what it means and how it might inform the work ahead.
SUPERVISION THAT DEVELOPS CLINICAL THINKING

Professional development
Effective supervision is not simply about finding the right intervention. It is about understanding the wider therapeutic process!
The wider perspective can help bring fresh understanding to clinical material that initially feels confusing, stuck or difficult to navigate.

A SPACE WHERE YOU CAN THINK FREELY
Good supervision is neither judgemental nor prescriptive. It provides a balance of support, challenge and professional accountability.
I aim to create a reflective environment where you can bring uncertainty, explore difficult clinical material and consider alternative perspectives without feeling that you must have all the answers.
Theory, clinical practice and supervisory relationships come together to support thoughtful, ethical and effective therapeutic work.
