Be assertive. Not the type of assertiveness that requires you to justify yourself to others for instance, people pleasing, which is largely based on the false self. Rather, be assertive by knowing your true self and be accepting of that true self, without feeling the need to justify yourself to anyone. Just be. Get to that state of acceptance which might help with self empowerment. That will help manage some of the anxieties of living up to expectations that are difficult to achieve.
