Nature is beautiful. You are part of nature. Everyone/everything has beauty if you care to look for it. Trauma can sometimes blind you so much that you do not see the beauty in most things including the self. Sometimes it limits our ability to access and process information to help us feel safe in the present by replaying the traumatic event when triggered. This can be frightening. Your Therapist will support you to understand what is happening to you and help you process these emotions. Understanding what is happening to you is an important step to helping you feel safe.
